Why the Alliance for Best Practices in Health Education?

The continuing health education landscape is changing. There is more emphasis on educational program development that begins, evolves and is developed closer to the learners.

The Alliance for Best Practices in Health Education is bound by principles of high ethical quality, needs focus, innovative program development, evidence-based information and quality evaluation.

The Alliance for Best Practices in Health Education conducts its planning process, financial accountability and partnerships in compliance with the CMA Code of Ethics, the College of Family Physicians guidelines for CPD development and the Conseil Québécois de Développement Professionnel Continu des Médecins (CQDPCM) Code of Ethics.

We are committed to educational project development that will have an impact on the care provided by professionals who attend the program. Through this, we are confident that patients will receive better care, healthcare teams will function more effectively and outcomes will improve.

The ABPHE is a registered, not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving healthcare delivery and patient outcomes through quality education and quality improvement initiatives.
